An original is a painting I created based on a scene, photo, place, or memory I love. I sell prints of all original paintings.
A commission painting is a painting that is unique to you. You tell me what you’d like me to create, and we collaborate to bring your photo and memories to life.
I do not sell prints of commissioned paintings unless you request them, and then I only sell them to you. You can read more about the commission painting process by clicking HERE.
-
To start the commission process, you can either reserve your spot on my calendar by clicking here and putting down a $100 deposit, or you can send an email to Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com with any questions you have or to get more details about your commission painting project.
Please note: I only book a handful of commissions each year, and they can fill up 6-12 months in advance, so don’t wait to get in touch with me and start the process.
-
Original and commission paintings are painted with Liquitex Professional paints and paint markers.
Paintings are sealed with multiple coats of Liquitex Professional Gloss Spray to protect against UV light and dust and to prevent them from fading over time.

Depends!
Paintings: Unless otherwise requested, the edges of each painting are painted black to create a clean, professional look that does not need to be framed. Paintings can be left unframed or you can add a frame for a more personalized look.
Metal prints: Do not need to be framed. They free-float 1” off the wall and have a sharp appearance without a frame.
Luster prints: Small luster prints can be set on an easel or framed with glass, plastic, or plexiglass in front of them. (You will want them in a protective sleeve if displayed on an easel without a frame.) Large luster prints should be framed with glass, plastic, or plexiglass in front of them.
Canvas prints: Rolled canvas prints will need to be stretched and framed when you receive them. They do not require glass or anything covering the canvas.
If you have any questions about framing, or would like some help choosing the perfect frame for your art, send an email to Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com.
-
Yes! If you don’t have a framing shop in your area, I can help you find a frame you’ll love.
Most of my paintings look great in a black frame because it makes the bright colors pop even more. Looking for something less standard? Send me an email at Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com and we’ll come up with some ideas.
-
If you know where you’d like to place your art, or which rooms you’d like to brighten in your home, send some photos of your space to Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com, and I can help.
I’ll ask for a few measurements and then digitally show you how a specific painting will look on your wall.
-
I try to keep my lighting as realistic as possible for my website images. I use warmer daylight colored light in my studio.
If you have any concerns about lighting, please email Jenna@JennaLueckArt.com and I will be happy to send snapshots of the painting you are considering in numerous lighting scenarios.
